I make pillows, jackets,and hair barrettes with felt applique and embroidery. I am inspired by everything old, Japanese,steampunk,things found in nature,vintage ads,fabric,fashion,music. I try to add dimension and texture to all my pieces by using beading, feathers,fabric and embroidery techniques. All the applique and embroidery is done by hand. Some of my designs include,owls,Day of the Dead,pin up girls,mermaids,koi,cherry blossoms,geisha girls,cupcakes,sushi,teapots,bumblebees,old school tattoo flash,motorcycles,rockets and more....
I also enjoy "upcycling" vintage band tees into dresses for girls. New for Craft Lake City this year, vintage apron dresses !
