Steven Ralph “Steve” Jerman was born in 1962 in Salt Lake City, where he was raised and still lives. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in advertising design. He has worked in the fields of advertising, design, publishing and manufacturing. Steve is an award-winning graphic artist, father, serial entrepreneur, amateur photographer, fashion designer, sometimes-writer/poet, one-time reality show contestant and creator of the worst cooking video celebrity chef Tyler Florence has ever seen.
He was been called a local personality and a name often dropped in the Salt Lake City scene over the last 20 years. He ranks in the top 1% of influence of Salt Lake City-based Twitter users (wefollow.com).
Steve was for 1-1/2 years Senior Designer for Crafts Magazine, the nation's largest Craft Publication. He has since been treated for PTSD and is glad to be coming to Craft Lake City.
