Hi, I'm Wren (yes, like the bird). I studied Apparel Design at The Art Institute of Portland briefly before going on to the University of Oregon, where I studied Anthropology and Art. I run The Apron Thief full time, while preparing for graduate school in Counseling Psychology.
The Apron Thief is the result of my lifelong love of fibers. I've been creating with yarn and fabric for as long as I can remember (my first creation was a hand-stitched corduroy doll with red-yarn hair at age 5). Now I spend my days knitting, crocheting, and sewing handcrafted goods.
The items I create are inspired by the pretty fabrics, flattering cuts, and gorgeous colors of the past. They will make you feel feminine, beautiful, and fun- enjoy!
