How Do You Define a Boutique and/or Nonprofit?

Craft Lake City’s DIY Festival has a limited amount of boutique vendor spaces available. To qualify in this category, your business must be a CO-OP, nonprofit or micro-business. All other businesses outside of this category should contact our sponsorship department. A limited number of sponsor booths are available and do not undergo the judging process or abide by handmade criteria. Boutique vendor applicants are subject to juror approval and must apply. Please note, if you are an artisan with a brick-and-mortar store outside of your home, you are considered a boutique vendor and must apply as a boutique vendor. Boutique and/or Nonprofit Fee: 10′X10′ Booth: $450, 6′X3′ Table: $300 (Fee includes rental and set up of 10′X10′ booth or 6′X3′ table for both days.)

Why are boutique and/or nonprofit exhibitors required to pay a higher participation fee?

Craft Lake City’s DIY Festival is a festival showcasing locally made DIY, handmade and homemade vendors in the following categories: craft, art, progressive engineering, science and technology. In order to keep our event celebrating the individuals themselves, only a small amount of commercial vendors will be allowed. All commercial vendors are subject to juror approval and must apply through the formal application process.

Are boutique and/or nonprofit exhibitors still judged?

Yes. You will still be judged with the same guidelines as the other exhibitor categories.

What space options do I have for vending and exhibiting?

A 6‘x3’ table space is suggested for nonprofits that don’t necessarily have items for sale but want to increase awareness about a cause, circulate their message, etc. Boutiques will do better in a 10’X10′ booth space unless their inventory is small enough to fit on one 6‘x3’ table. Nonprofit & Boutique Exhibitors are not allowed to share table spaces—only one exhibitor per 6’x3’table, please.  Tables are placed in “shaded areas” however, they are not guaranteed to provided shade all day. Applicants with shade concerns should be ready and able to provide their own shade umbrellas.

10’x10’ booth space is intended for applicants with a substantial amount of inventory or whom require more vending space the previous option. The 10’x10’ tent covering (with no walls) is set up in advance and will be ready for CLC DIY Fest vendors to merchandise upon arrival. Tables and chairs may be rented from CLC for an additional charge.

*Boutique and Nonprofit applicants are not allowed to share booth space with other applicants.
