The festival takes place Friday, August 13 through Sunday, August 15, 2027 at the Utah State Fairpark.
Planned 2027 timeline, subject to confirmation: Applications close April 1, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. The exhibitor lineup and scholarship announcement are planned for May 1, 2027. Check Craft Lake City's published updates for final dates.
Applications for artisans, vintage vendors, performers, foodies, youth entrepreneurs (Kid Row) and STEM exhibitors are OPEN to Utah residents for the 2027 festival. The application deadline is April 1, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.

Scholarships & Fee Support:
- LGBTQ+, ArtAbility, Artisan and Empower scholarship application details are available through the Scholarship & Mentor Program webpage. As part of our Scholarship & Mentor Program, designed for emerging makers and first-time Craft Lake City exhibitors in the artisan, vintage and craft food categories. Recipients receive waived exhibitor fees, 1:1 mentorship, networking and small business training.
- As part of Craft Lake City's Unity Initiative at DIY Fest, we have options for folks experiencing financial difficulties to still be part of the event! - To apply for the Scholarship & Mentor Program, complete the scholarship questions in your DIY Festival application and submit the festival application by the deadline. If you are applying for a STEM or Kid Row scholarship, follow the instructions in your category. If you are not applying for a scholarship, skip the scholarship follow-up questions.
