When and where will the 14th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons take place?

The 14th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons will take place at the Utah State Fairpark, 155 1000 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.

  • Friday, August 12, 2022: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 pm.
  • Saturday, August 13, 2022: Noon – 8:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 14, 2022: Noon – 6:00 p.m.

What will the in-person DIY Fest look like?

The DIY Fest will feature over 300 Utah-based artisans, more than 50 local performers and dozens of festival food options over a three-day period. Social distancing and face masks are strongly recommended for all attendees, and volunteers. Craft Lake City staff and exhibitors will be required to wear face masks in the indoor areas of the DIY Fest and encouraged to wear them while outdoors.

Do attendees need to pay a fee to enter the DIY Fest?

Yes, and Craft Lake City is working to confirm the exact ticket price for attendees. We hope to post specific information and how to purchase tickets soon. Tickets are less expensive when purchased in advance, so keep an eye out for when those go live by signing up for our monthly newsletter or following us on social media (@craftlakecity)!

How can attendees best prepare to shop at the DIY Fest? will display a list of participating DIY Fest exhibitors on May 2, 2022. Attendees are encouraged to browse the exhibitor profiles so that they may get familiar with which vendors they’d like to shop from to plan their DIY Fest experience!

How will I be able to make purchases at the DIY Fest?

Exhibitors at the DIY Fest are encouraged to offer a wide range of payment options, especially contactless payment like Venmo, PayPal, and credit card processing. They are asked to avoid accepting cash when possible due to COVID-19, but still encouraged to bring small bills as a backup for those who prefer to make purchases in cash.

Where can I smoke at the DIY Fest?

The Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is allowed only outside the venue, 25 feet or more from the entrance. Attendees can re-enter using their hand stamp.

Can I bring my pet to the DIY Fest?

Service animals are allowed at the DIY Fest free of charge. The DIY Fest does also allow non-service dogs on the festival premises with the purchase of a dog ticket & a digital signature on our liability waiver. Dog tickets will go on sale through alongside our general admission options for the event (approx. 3 months in advance of the event date).
