Four groups of 5 will be taught the ins and outs of basic drone flying every half hour from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Each individual will have 2-5 minutes of supervised, individual flying time. Camera flying footage will be made available for those that bring their own thumb drives.

When Pictureline opened, it was primarily a supplier to commercial professional photographers. As digital photography has revolutionized the photographic industry, they have gone through several changes as well. Pictureline is currently a top-of-the-line camera store that caters not only to the professionals, but also to anyone who loves photography. Pictureline retails drones because of their capability to capture photographs and video footage.

“Craft Lake City is pleased to partner with Pictureline to give Utahns a free introduction to drone technology,” says Angela Brown, Executive Director of Craft Lake City. “Flying Drones is a great learning opportunity for community members of all ages!”

This is a FREE workshop, though pre-registration is still required, register here. Check in at the Craft Lake City booth on the south end of The Gateway by the fountain. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you are confirmed for the workshop. If you do not arrive 15 minutes early your spot will be given to someone on the wait-list. If you are on the waiting list for this event you will not be guaranteed a spot, please arrive 30 minutes early.
