About: Tortuga's Design was born out of our passion for all things beautiful...a platform where we can showcase our creations, an expression of ourselves.
We are a mother daughter team. We love making and creating unique jewelry. This is our passion! Together as a team we've created hundreds of different designs. Each one of a kind, and inspired by nature, travel, art, and fashion.
Our jewelry is a fusion of modern design with a touch of vintage and latin influence. My mother was born and raised in Venezuela and I was a baby when we came to the states. Our difference in age and style make a great recipe for unique designs that are bound to attract attention. Our jewelry is fun, eclectic, original and designed for all women of today. Our pieces are usually limited in quantity and are never mass produced to ensure that the buyer is a new owner of something one of a kind.
Making jewelry has opened our eyes to the meaning of DIY and has given us a bigger love, admiration, and appreciation for the handmade community. We feel so honored to be apart of it. Crafting is good for the soul.
