About: I started working in ceramics in 2002 in college, quickly developing a love for working with my hands. I continued to study ceramics, among other mediums, until graduating in 2006 with a BFA from Concordia University, Montreal. After working in multiple art fields in the years proceeding, I've recently decided to get back into working with clay. I mainly work on the wheel but also hand build and slip cast.
My work displays my love for the natural. By working and layering multiple clay bodies, the design and color of the work comes from the clay itself, using glazes to accentuate the work. I love being surprised by the clay's designs when throwing or cutting into each work.
