About: Gentry Blackburn is a graduate of the Painting and Drawing program at the University of Utah and enjoys both painting and crafting. Using felt as her primary material, she creates finger puppets, aprons, pillows and accessories. Her style is colorful and nostalgic going for a, "Hey I remember that!" reaction. The subjects of her paintings are seventies and eighties television characters. Gentry's art looks to the past and childhood memories.
