About: Born in Salt Lake City, Stacey Jo initially studied art at Utah State University and finished with a degree in Geography from the University of Utah. Since a child, Stacey Jo has collected rocks examining and obsessing over each individual rock’s brilliance, uniqueness and hidden surprises each stone had. Looking for a more aesthetic and practical way to keep her rock collection near at all times, Stacey Jo began to turn her rock collection into jewelry, thus became Ker-ij Jewelry. Ker-ij (courage), first came to the English dictionary from the Latin word Ker, meaning “from the heart”. The original definition of Courage (Ker-ij) means to tell the story of who you are with your whole heart.
