Salt Lake City, Jan 21 – Craft Lake City, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is pleased to announce that applications are now open to potential Kid Row exhibitors for the 12th Annual Craft Lake City® DIY Festival®. Kid Row applications are open to youth artisans and tinkerers who reside in the state of Utah, and who are age 14 or younger as of August 8, 2020. Young local artisans are encouraged to apply at https://craftlakecity.com/apply/ by Monday, April 6, 2019.
Operating on the afternoon of Saturday, August 8th at the 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival, Kid Row is a space especially for local youth artisans ages 14 and younger to sell, promote and exhibit their work. Kid Row provides youth with an opportunity to gain entrepreneurial skills and interact with the public at Utah’s largest three-day, local-centric art, science and technology festival.
“Kid Row was a great experience. I met lots of people who were very nice and encouraged me to keep up with my business. It was so cool that I even decided to have a booth at the [First Annual Craft Lake City] Holiday Market in Ogden this past December – I never would have thought I could do this if it wasn’t for my experience on Kid Row,” said Casey of Casey Creates.
