Join local artist and educator Ashley Mott of Alpenglow Arts for a two-hour creative evening at Asher Adams Hotel. You’ll choose from a selection of pressed flowers and seasonal leaves to create your own botanical composition in an upcycled frame.

Delicate blooms, autumn colors and creative backgrounds offer plenty of ways to make your piece personal. Experiment with watercolor, ink and collage materials, and explore simple techniques for giving a repurposed frame a fresh finish.

During the workshop, Ashley will guide you through handling fragile botanicals, planning your arrangement, securing each element and assembling your finished artwork. All materials and tools are included, with individual guidance as you create.

By the end of the evening, you’ll leave with a finished framed piece and tips for collecting, pressing and preserving botanicals to keep creating at home.
