Craft Lake City is honored to receive additional support from local print company Offside Print & Apparel for the Volunteer Lounge at the 14th Annual Craft Lake City® DIY Festival® Presented By Harmons. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Craft Lake City relies heavily on volunteers who generously dedicate their time to help elevate the creative culture of the Utah arts community. The Annual DIY Festival, its flagship event, is the largest local-centric art, music, science and technology festival, and it truly takes a village to bring the DIY Fest to life! Offside’s commitment to community-building inspired them to become the area sponsor for the Volunteer Lounge at this year’s DIY Fest, while also generously donating over 400 volunteer and staff t-shirts for the event. The Craft Lake City team is proud to sport these super-soft tees while building, running, then disassembling the festival, then for months & years to come to commemorate the event.

“This is Craft Lake City’s first time partnering with Offside Print & Apparel in this way! We love that we are able to offer our volunteers soft and comfortable shirts thanks to this new sponsorship,” says Craft Lake City Volunteer Coordinator Serena Millet, “Coordinating a team of hundreds of volunteers has been a huge endeavor for the organization, and it’s a great pleasure to offer them something comfortable & stylish to wear as well as a Volunteer Lounge to rest & rehydrate in during the festival with the support we’ve received from Offside.”

“We are so pleased to be part of the DIY Fest again this year helping to forge community connections & demonstrate the power of volunteering your time, resources, & energy to build something great together,” says Nate Bowen, co-founder of Offside Print & Apparel.

Offside Print & Apparel is also offering free screen-printed tote bags at the DIY Fest featuring artwork from 5 participating exhibitors. For the second year, they will be offering these dynamic live demonstrations in the hopes of encouraging DIY creativity among festival goers. Craft Lake City is proud to partner with this Utah-local print company whose mission statement & do-it-yourself ethos aligns perfectly with theirs.
