Suba Bleu’s Backyard Dog Park Presented By Mark Miller Subaru Comes to the 15th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons

Craft Lake City and Mark Miller Subaru are thrilled to announce Bleu’s Backyard Dog Park, hosted by Community Animal Welfare Society (CAWS), at the 15th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons! The DIY Festival is a dog friendly event, and we invite you to bring your trusty companion with you to enjoy celebrating Utah’s incredible DIY culture. When your pup needs a break while perusing the festival, head to Bleu’s Backyard Dog Park for some hydration, shade, access to a potty area and resting cots. Thanks to our friends at CAWS, we’ll make sure that the water bowls are full, the fans are blowing, and the area is comfortable for you and your pup. Your dog will even have access to artisanal, locally made dog treats at Bleu’s Backyard Dog Park!

CAWS is an esteemed Mark Miller Subaru’s Love Promise charity partner for 2023 in their Subaru Loves Pets initiative. Through this program, Mark Miller Subaru has helped over 230,000 animals across the United States seek rescue & adoption services.

Mark Miller Subaru uplifts a number of Utah nonprofits each year through their charitable giving initiative, with special emphasis on supporting organizations working in sustainability, animal welfare, education, community & public health.

“We are proud to recognize CAWS, Utah’s oldest animal rescue group and a no-kill, volunteer, and foster-based nonprofit with a mission to work with the community to help animals, as our Subaru Love Pets Partner for 2023,” says Jeff Miller, Owner & CEO of Mark Miller Subaru. “They have an incredible mission and we are excited to work with them at the DIY fest as well as support them during our Subaru Make a Dogs Day Event this October as we plan to donate an additional $6,000 to them.”

Bleu’s Backyard Dog Park Presented By Mark Miller Subaru at the 15th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons takes its name from the “Suba Bleu’s Backyard” play area for dogs at Mark Miller Subaru’s Midtown dealership location in South Salt Lake. Both dog areas are part of the dealership’s Principles of Love”.

“It is such an honor to expand our partnership with Mark Miller Subaru this year by receiving their support not only for our Kids’ Area but also for our Dog Park at the DIY Fest,” says Angela H. Brown, Executive Director for Craft Lake City. “Elevating local culture is the very core of what Craft Lake City does, and we are pleased to be working in tandem with Mark Miller Subaru to spotlight & elevate Utahns in many different ways.”

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the DIY Fest with the purchase of a dog ticket. All dogs must be leashed at all times (no retractable leashes), and have a current rabies vaccination.

Dogs may not be left unattended or left in cars on premises. Pet parents must sign Craft Lake City’s Dog Owner Liability Release Form prior to attending the event. Service dogs do not require a dog ticket for entry to the festival.
