Salt Lake City, September 7, – The Natural History Museum of Utah and Craft Lake City present the September Jewelry workshop with Malinda Fisher of Desert Rose Jewelry. The workshop will be held at the Natural History Museum of Utah on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Malinda Fisher a long time creator and artist, began Desert Rose Jewelry in 2010. Dedicated to the production of limited edition one-of-a-kind metalsmith pieces, Fisher has worked to create jewelry that captures the spirit of the desert. For this workshop, Fisher will instruct attendees on how to find local minerals and wire-wrap them into a beautiful piece of jewelry.
“I’m happy to have the opportunity to share something I love to do” Says Fisher. “I’ve always loved nature and the inspiration that can drawn from it. This workshop will be so much fun and I can’t wait to talk about rocks!”

Workshop Attendance Policy: Participants are now required to arrive and check-in with the Craft Lake City Workshop Coordinator five minutes before the workshop begins or their spot will be given to a participant on the waitlist. If you wish to be added to the waitlist please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop begins and check in with our Workshop Coordinator. You will be added to the waitlist to take the place of an absent participant’s spot. First come, first serve, waitlisters are not guaranteed admittance.
