ARTISAN MARKETPLACE
The Artisan Market is the heart of the DIY Festival!
Shop over 300 local Utah artisans offering everything from jewelry and ceramics to fiber arts and apothecary goods — you’re sure to find something incredible to take home.
New this year: Service-based exhibitors! Book a tattoo, get tooth gems, visit a nail artist, and more.

From local bands and dance companies to multicultural performers, the DIY Festival entertainment celebrates the full spectrum of Utah’s artistic voice — and there’s a spot for everyone in the crowd.

KIDS' AREA
Visit the Kids’ Area for fun with the whole family!
Bounce on inflatables, climb aboard a pirate ship playground from utahpirates.com, enjoy face painting and get creative with hands-on crafts from community partners.
Kids Activity tickets are available for purchase at $3 for one and $5 for 2. These tickets are required for bounce house, face painting and GFiber rocket launches.
GFIBER STEM BUILDING
Explore STEM at DIY Fest!
The GFiber STEM Building showcases local innovators, hands-on exhibits, demos, games and expert talks—fun for all ages!

INDIE MOUNTAIN WEST SHOWCASE
The DIY Festival is leveling up!
Craft Lake City and the University of Utah Division of Games are debuting the Indie Mountain West Showcase — a juried space inside the GFiber Building where developers, hobbyists and students can exhibit games, connect with community and compete in the Indie Mountain West Awards Ceremony.

ROBOT INVASION POWERED BY XMISSION
A Robot Invasion is coming to the DIY Festival!
Experience live robot battles, hands‑on driving stations, coding challenges and interactive demos from local FIRST Robotics League teams.
Explore everything from beginner builds to advanced competitive bots in this high‑energy showcase inside the Heritage Building, next to the Kids’ Area.

dog park presented by preppy paws
DIY Festival is dog-friendly! The Dog Park is a festival favorite and the ultimate pup pit stop—designed for comfort, fun and a moment of cool-down.
Dog Tickets & Entry Guidelines:
Well-behaved, vaccinated dogs are welcome at the DIY Festival with a valid Dog Ticket, available for purchase online or at the gate. Accredited service animals receive free admission.
All dog owners must:
- Have a valid Dog Ticket
- Be able to provide proof of current rabies vaccination
- Sign a Dog Owner Liability Waiver (online or onsite)
- Ensure dogs are leashed and under control at all times
- Pick up after their pets
- Avoid rough housing or group play within the Dog Oasis
- Be respectful of fellow festivalgoers and furry friends
- Always accompany their dogs

At the DIY Festival, making is for everyone.
Drop into a DIY Station and find live artisan demos scattered throughout the grounds all weekend to learn, create and connect with the makers behind the craft. From quick try-its with our DIY station partners to in-depth demonstrations from our exhibitors, every activity is an invitation to discover your next creative passion and deepen your appreciation of craft.

Support young makers on Saturday, August 8 from 12PM-4PM!
Kid Row is Craft Lake City’s youth-only space for makers 18 and under, featuring 70+ young artisans selling and showcasing their work while learning entrepreneurship.
Visit Kid Row near the North entrance lawn and meet the next generation of creators!
