Utah Business: Harmons and Craft Lake City present the 13th annual DIY Festival

Salt Lake City — Craft Lake City is pleased to announce its continued partnership with Harmons in hosting the 13th Annual Craft Lake City® DIY Festival® Presented By Harmons. The 13th Annual DIY Festival is slated to be the biggest one yet, with over 300 exhibiting artisans and craft foodies, 50+ performers and live musicians and many special features like the Pacific Islander Heritage Month Day pop-up exhibit on Saturday of the festival.

“One of the biggest lessons we have learned through the past year of virtual interaction and social distancing is just how powerful the energy of community can be, and how much it is missed when we aren’t able to come together and share an experience in one place. We’re so glad that has changed, and we are thrilled to welcome you back in person to the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival,” says Bob Harmon, chairman for the customer. Each year, festival attendees look forward to Harmons’ presence at the DIY Festival, most notably through the VIP experience they facilitate. For 2021, Harmons offers a luxury VIP experience on its opening night, Friday August 13, for VIP ticket-holders, who will enjoy an evening of craft cocktails, curated local bites, priority view of the festival headliner, Ritt Momney, among other exclusive offerings. Here, VIP patrons get to share in their passion for delicious local food, while indulging in curated bites from highlighted partnering brands. The Harmons experience is all about forging connections between the local community, and the VIP Lounge is a shining example of this mission statement.

“Craft Lake City is excited to welcome Harmons back as Presenting Sponsor for this year’s Festival,” says Angela H. Brown, executive director of Craft Lake City. “Harmons is a valued supporter of Craft Lake City and an important presence at the DIY Festival. We appreciate what they bring to the event each year and look forward to helping them share their vision with the community.”

Shopping and buying local has a lasting impact on the environment and economy, and Harmons is a trailblazer in the effort to uplift and empower Utah brands. Harmons carries over 3,600 local products in their grocery stores and consistently increases this number each year. Harmons champions local entrepreneurs and makers in myriad ways, and Craft Lake City is proud to be part of this impactful programming.
