Craft Lake City Announces Accepted Exhibitors and Performers for the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented by Harmons

Salt Lake City, April 30 – Craft Lake City® is thrilled to announce this year’s participating exhibitors for the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival® Presented by Harmons. Accepted participants in the categories of artisan, craft food, vintage, DIY engineer and performer are now listed on Craft Lake City’s website.

After receiving hundreds of applications across all categories, the Craft Lake City jury underwent the difficult task of selecting this year’s participants. The more than 300 accepted applicants in the categories of artisan, craft food, food trucks, DIY engineer, and performer represent some of the best local creative work within Utah’s vibrant DIY community.

The 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons will take place at the Utah State Fairpark on Friday, August 13, Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15, 2021. Attendees of the three-day festival can expect to find unique handmade items created by local artisans and entrepreneurs such as gourmet treats, handmade clothing, crocheted items, home decor, screen-printed designs, handmade body care products, photography, jewelry and much more.

DIY engineers will be showcased in the Google Fiber STEM Building and include local tinkerers and organizations creating exciting science, technology, math and engineering projects such as robotics and storytelling through the Virtual Reality experience.

Performers will be featured on one of two DIY Festival stages and include local bands, dance troupes and more.

“Craft Lake City is excited to celebrate thirteen years of the DIY Festival with the local creative community,” says Angela H. Brown, Executive Director of Craft Lake City. “This year we will be providing a safe in-person festival at the Utah State Fairpark with indoor and outdoor exhibitors.”

The DIY Festival will be held on Fri., Aug. 13 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Sat., Aug. 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sun., Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Utah State Fairpark. The 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival features over 300 artisan, the Google Fiber STEM Building, two stages of live music and multi-cultural performances, Mark Miller Subarus’ “Make Your Mark Park—“a dedicated kids’ area, the Harmons VIP Lounge and a variety of delicious local food booths and trucks.
