Craft Lake City and UTA Partnership Gives Zero Fare to Ticket Holders for the 15th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons

Craft Lake City and Utah Transit Authority are excited to announce that for the first time, tickets to the 15th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented by Harmons also include free UTA fare! Festival goers with GA and VIP tickets can ride UTA trains or local buses with their DIY Festival ticket and enjoy Zero Fare all day on the day of the event as specified on their ticket (excludes Paratransit, Park City Connect and Ski Bus). Those with tickets simply show their event ticket to the bus operator or UTA fare inspection personnel when asked for proof of payment. DIY Festival tickets are available for purchase through 24tix.com.

“Welcome Aboard to the DIY community!” says UTA Executive Director Jay Fox. “We are excited to help you connect with DIY friends and opportunities across the Wasatch Front. You understand the importance of ingenuity, innovation, and quality of life — values that drive UTA’s mission: We Move You.”

UTA’s Ticket As Fare program offers free transit service to ticket holders attending various pre-approved local events. This year will mark the Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival’s first time being a part of the Ticket As Fare program.

“Our public transit plays a large role in connecting our arts community. It’s so exciting and important to us to have UTA’s direct support in bringing our community together for the 15th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons,” says Angela H. Brown, Executive Director of Craft Lake City. “We can’t wait to see everyone arriving this August via buses and trains!”

Craft Lake City’s Annual DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Festival is Utah’s largest local-centric, three-day arts, music, science & technology festival. Attracting over 20,000 attendees over the course of the second weekend each August, the DIY Fest is an event created by locals, for locals, that celebrates all things local. The 15th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons is set to feature over 340 local artisans, vintage vendors, foodies, youth entrepreneurs, performers and STEM exhibitors, as well as headlining performances by national acts Warpaint, Haley Heynderickx, Courtney Marie Andrews, Gable Price & Friends and Sego! All of this and more will take place at the Utah State Fairpark, on Fri., Aug. 11, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Sat., Aug. 12, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.; and Sun., Aug. 13, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
