Salt Lake City, Oct. 11 — Craft Lake City and Argentina’s Best Empanadas present the October Gnocchi Workshop with Ana Valdemoros. Argentina’s Best Empanadas, a local purveyor of traditional and fresh made empanadas, has served the Salt Lake Valley for over 10 years. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Argentina’s Best Empanadas from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Ana Valdemoros started selling freshly baked empanadas at the Downtown Farmers Market in the summer of 2006. In 2016, Valdemoros opened Argentina’s Best Empanadas’ storefront in downtown Salt Lake City, where she sells five kinds of empanadas, freshly made with locally sourced ingredients that strive to meet the highest caliber. In 2017 Argentina’s Best Empanadas started featuring fresh gnocchi as a special at it’s downtown location.

“I am excited to teach people about one of Argentina’s favorite imports,” says Valdemoros. “Italian immigrants gave Argentina one of it’s favorite foods and now I want to give Salt Lake their new favorite!” Workshop participants will be given recipes for gnocchi and learn how to create their own perfect pillowy pasta pleasures.

There is a $35 material fee for this workshop, which includes empanada education and supplies to make one dozen empanadas. Pre-registration is required. Register here. Visit craftlakecity.com/workshops or our Facebook for more information.
