Fri., Dec. 4, 2020 – ‘Tis The Season To Shop Local! Craft Lake City is pleased to present the December edition of the Online Second Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market, launching today on craftlakecity.com to offer online shoppers an opportunity to find one-of-a-kind gifts made by dozens of Utah-based makers.
This year, Craft Lake City is offering a safer way to celebrate the season and participate in the Annual Holiday Market with an online shopping experience that runs through Mon., Jan. 4. Shoppers can browse nearly 40 local creative businesses through online profiles on the Craft Lake City website, complete with artisan bios, product information and links to the makers’ online stores.
The Online Second Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market will feature two interactive and exciting Virtual Meetups to give shoppers the opportunity to connect with Craft Lake City’s creative community in a custom-made, virtual reality, holiday winter wonderland. Attendees will safely gather online with friends and family in avatar form, interact with the featured creatives to learn more about their work, and purchase handmade products during the contact-free event. The Virtual Meetups will take place on Fri., Dec. 11 and Fri., Dec. 18 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on craftlakecity.com.
Community members looking for ways to safely engage with artisans can join the Craft Lake City Virtual Volunteer team by completing an application. Opportunities are available for volunteers to help remotely during the Online Second Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market as online editors and Virtual Meetup event assistants this holiday season.
