Chris Blackburn of Blackburn Studio has worked extensively in the medium of photography. Using conventional methods as well as vintage processes, Chris brings his subjects to life with dramatic lighting and a balanced aesthetic. For this West Elm workshop, Chris will teach participants how to create cyanotype prints, a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue image. Workshop participants are encouraged to email Chris at photoblackburn[at]gmail.com with images they would like to turn into photo negatives for cyanotypes. Photo negatives will be provided to those who do not provide the instructor with images.
