CRAFT LAKE CITY ANNOUNCES MINI MAKER FAIRE WITH BARNES AND NOBLE AND MAKE MAGAZINE

Salt Lake City, October 26, Barnes & Noble, in partnership with Make: Magazine, announces a fantastic lineup for their first-ever retail Mini Maker Faire at stores nationwide November 6–8, 2015. Customers will “Meet the Makers” at Barnes & Noble stores statewide, including featured guests from Craft Lake City who will be showcasing exciting interactive exhibits.

All product demonstrations and collaborative hands-on events will happen throughout the weekend so customers can fully experience three unique areas in store Make Workspace, Make & Collaborate and Meet the Makers. Each project will deliver a robust Mini Maker Faire experience.

The Mini Maker Faire also provides an additional exciting opportunity for Craft Lake City. A percentage of online and in-store sales will be donated to the organization when customers mention Craft Lake City at checkout. Barnes & Noble’s goal is to educate people about the maker movement, give exposure to DIY engineers, and raise money for the Craft Lake City organization.

The Mini Maker Faire will be held at all six Barnes & Noble locations within the Salt Lake Valley:

These Locations are:

  • Fort Union – 7119 S. 1300 E.
  • Gateway – 6 North Rio Grande St.
  • Sugarhouse – 1104 E. 2100 S.
  • Sandy – 10180 State St. (South Towne Center)
  • Murray – 5249 State S.
  • Jordan Landing – 7157 Plaza Center Dr.

When:

  • Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
