Craft Lake City and Millcreek Common are excited to announce that the Third Annual Craft Lake City Makers Mart is now open to the public! The market is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., April 6 through May 11, 2026. Hosted inside the Public Market at Millcreek Common, this cash-and-carry retail experience will showcase handcrafted goods from over 40 Utah-based artisans, vintage vendors and craft food creators.
By bringing together a wide range of Utah-based artisans and foodies, Makers Mart offers a reminder of the creativity shaping the state. Through this continued partnership, Craft Lake City and Millcreek Common further their shared mission of supporting local makers while creating meaningful and accessible experiences for the public.
“This year’s market is especially exciting as we welcome so many new artisans into the Craft Lake City community,” said Tiana O. Young, Craft Lake City Artisan and Programs Manager. “Partnering with Millcreek Common for the third consecutive year is a huge honor, and we’re grateful for the chance to help curate a vibrant space where we can continue our mission of uplifting Utah’s creative community.”
Visitors can shop a wide range of locally made items, including vintage wares, craft food, jewelry, ceramics, prints, home goods and more – available seven days a week!
“We’re excited to bring local talent to the Public Market for our community to discover and enjoy,” said Lacy Gill, Market and Partnership Manager at Millcreek Common. “Craft Lake City’s partnership and their audience of creative artisans and supporters help us achieve this objective at Millcreek Common.”
Makers Mart will feature two opportunities for the public to connect with participating artisans and creators:
On Friday, April 17th, from 6 – 8 pm, the public is invited to the Makers Mart Mingle to meet participating local artisans and learn about their products and craft making.
On Friday, May 8th from 6–8 p.m. to celebrate the closing weekend of Makers Mart, the public is invited to Millcreek Common for an evening of shopping, food trucks, live music, demonstrations, the indie game jam, free opportunity drawings, networking activities and more at the Makers Mart Mixer Presented By Mark Miller Subaru and LeafGuard.
All participating Makers Mart artisans will also be featured in the upcoming 18th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons this August 7-9, offering visitors an early look at some of the talent featured in this summer’s event.
