Craft Lake City and West Elm Present: Leather Pet Collar Workshop with Brooke and Mike Sasser of Butterbean Leather Co.

SALT LAKE CITY, October 6, 2016 – West Elm and Craft Lake City present the October West Elm Leather Pet Collar Workshop with Brooke and Mike Sasser of Butterbean Leather Company. The workshop will be held at West Elm SLC on Thursday, October 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Craft Lake City is happy to welcome back husband and wife team Mike and Brooke Sasser as instructing artisans at the next West Elm workshop. The Sassers started Butterbean Leather Co. in 2009 as a hobby and have participated in several Craft Lake City DIY Festivals. Specializing in beautifully simple leather wallets and keychains, Butterbean Leather Co. is now featured as one of West Elm’s local artisans. As part of National Pet Wellness Month, this workshop will show participants how to create a custom leather pet collar for their furry friend. These options are: ½” (Cat/small dog), ¾” (Medium Dog) or 1” (Large Dog).

Workshop Attendance Policy: Participants are required to arrive and check in with the Craft Lake City Workshop Coordinator five minutes before the workshop begins, or their spot will be given to a participant on the waitlist. If you wish to be added to the waitlist, please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop begins and check in with our Workshop Coordinator. You will be added to the waitlist to take the place of an absent participant’s spot, first come, first served. Waitlisters are not guaranteed admittance.
