About the Youth Entrepreneur Program
Since 2022, Craft Lake City’s Youth Entrepreneur Program provides free after-school workshops where youth build creative and business skills, receive mentorship and gain real-world experience selling their work at Kid Row during the Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons.

Participant Benefits
- FREE opportunity to grow or develop a small business
- 5 in-person sessions, led by local creative business owners
- Mentorship with VentureLab certified Craft Lake City mentors
- Waived exhibitor fees for the practice market at the Downtown Farmer’s Market

- $250 materials stipend (attend all 5 in-person sessions for reward)

Craft Lake City also offers curated versions of our Youth Entrepreneur Program to sites across Utah. In 2026, we’re excited to partner with Backman Elementary to offer entrepreneurial and arts education to the youth they serve for the fifth year.
