GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION
The Grand Opening Celebration for the first-ever Craft Lake City Makers Mart at Millcreek Common was an unforgettable evening of fun and excitement for all!
The festivities began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate our new partnership with Millcreek Common, featuring inspiring words from our Executive Director, Angela H. Brown, and our Volunteer Coordinator, Martin “Martian” Gassner.
Throughout the night, attendees enjoyed a captivating vinyl-only set by DJ Robin Banks, roller skated with friends in a vibrant atmosphere and ate delicious grub from local food trucks. Attendees had the chance to connect with the talented local artisans whose creations will be showcased at the Makers Mart through October 20, 2024.
In a delightful twist, the event also served as our Volunteer Thank You Party for our wonderful volunteers from DIY Fest, which culminated in a heartfelt opportunity drawing to celebrate their contributions to our organization.
The evening beautifully captured the spirit of community, bringing everyone together for a joyful celebration of connection, gratitude and creativity!
