Hey! I’m Makenzie. I started Smitches as a creative outlet in 2016 mostly to make myself laugh. I hand letter everything and then use a local printer to bring my brutally honest, sarcastic sentiments to life. The word “smitch” is a made up word my family started using as a term of endearment, but it can mean whatever you want it to mean! Thank you for all the human support, my cat is emotionally withholding and I need all the love I can get.

Having lived in many Asian countries, I have been exposed to many different paper folding technique, which I am delighted to share with you. I take pride in each creation I make. My creations make a great gift and will put a smile on your face. My goal is to “Spread Happiness and Positivity, One Star at the Time”.

Mallory’s handmade books are carefully crafted works of art. She uses embroidery, gold leaf, and even flowers from her garden to make unique and stunning covers.
