Marti Woolford is a Salt Lake City-based macramé artisan specializing in wall hangings, plant holders, and knotted items for the home. She established her business, marti makes, in 2016 and began teaching workshops in 2017. Marti finds comfort in the rhythmic flow of tying knots, and established her business to share her love of modern macramé. Marti gets inspiration from the colors she finds in nature, specifically from birds and flowers. Marti loves Utah and has called it home for the last 29 years where she lives with her wife Chris, two dogs and three chickens.
