Dear jurors, my name is Travis Sudweeks, and I am grateful to be able to apply for the first ever Ogden Christmas Market. As a full-time potter I appreciate the opportunity to connect with customers at such a great event, and it really helps me to support my family. I have been making pottery since the age of 14, I am now 42. About 3 years ago, I quit my marketing job and decided to try and go full-time as a potter, I am happy to say it has worked so far. My style is more contemporary and modern, I like clean lines, and properly weighted pottery. Every piece I make goes through at least an 8 step process, from wedging the clay, to the glaze firing.
