Craft Lake City Makers Mart is an exciting new curation project in collaboration with Millcreek, running from September 9 to October 20, that aims to elevate Utah’s creative community by showcasing a diverse range of local artisans in this vibrant, high-traffic environment. This dynamic cash-and-carry market will take over the Public Market at Millcreek Common and feature an array of local makers, workshops and special events.

We’re so excited to team up with the Natural History Museum of Utah on our newest Local Voices Installation, “Microsculpture: Insect Portraits by Levon Biss.” Viewable from July through September 2024, this free public art installation features 10 mesmerizing images that offer a glimpse into the intricate beauty of microscopic insect structures and the museum’s exhibits.
Craft Lake City is proud to curate approximately 50 artisan workshops each year. These workshops align with our mission to elevate the creative culture of Utah through providing accessibly priced crafting education for the community while opening up an avenue for local artisans to gain teaching experience and new opportunities for revenue. Craft Lake City partners with local venues to provide these in-person crafting opportunities in a variety of fun and atmospheric settings. Take a workshop to perfect a skill, kick-start a new hobby, meet like-minded people and support the local maker movement!
