Fix-It Clinic

with the Utah Recycling Alliance

Saturday, August 11, 12:30 - 2:00 PM

AGES: All ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Be a DIY Hero and help the environment! Learn how to fix and mend broken items with the help of the Utah Recycling Alliance! You’ll be paired with a coach who can help you diagnose, fix or just get to know your belongings a little better. All broken items must be carried into the clinic and the DIY Festival by the participant (please, no large items!). We will not be able to watch items while you are on Festival grounds. If you bring an item to repair, make sure it is small enough for you to carry at the DIY Festival!

Fix-It Clinics are designed to empower participants to become better stewards of their material belongings. Participants bring in a broken item that they would like to learn how to repair and get to work side-by-side with an experienced Repair Coach. Tools will be provided for use.

Participants will be helped in order of when they arrive and based on when the best suited coach is available. Participants of all ages are invited! However, all youth under age 12 must be accompanied by legal guardian/parent.
