What to Expect
The Fifth Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market Presented By Google Fiber will feature over 120 local artisans, craft food creators, commercial food vendors, and craft beer & craft cocktail creations made by Ogden-based distilleries & breweries. The Holiday Market encourages the community to shop locally and support local businesses for their holiday shopping, while bringing thousands of folks from all over Northern Utah to the downtown Ogden area.
FOOD & BEVERAGE:
Bringing in food and drink from outside the Holiday Market is not allowed, except factory sealed bottles of water. The Holiday Market offers multiple food and beverage options for purchase on-site from local vendors, including local beer from Ogden Beer Company and craft cocktails from New World Distillery.
Pro Tip: Free water is available at indoor drinking fountains within the venue. Bring an empty water bottle to refill while enjoying the event.
While many vendors take credit cards, some are cash only. Unfortunately, ATMs will NOT be offered on-site.
As part of our Sustainability plan, vendors will not have plastic bags for purchased items. Craft Lake City encourages patrons to bring reusable bags that can be used for purchases or purchase a screen printed tote from the Craft Lake City merch booth.
Pets are not allowed at the Holiday Market. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
Craft Lake City carefully considers the needs of Holiday Market attendees and makes a sincere effort to accommodate everyone. All areas of the public spaces are wheelchair accessible. A limited number of wheelchairs will be available for rent at the entrance. Should you require assistance or have questions, feel free to contact us a minimum of 1 week prior to the event at 801.906.8521 or email email@example.com.
The Holiday Market and Ogden Union Station are a smoke-free environment. Smoking is allowed only outside the venue. You can re-enter using your hand stamp.
In addition to shopping from the best Utah makers, the Holiday Market has other features to raise your holiday spirits!
VISIT WITH SANTA:
Santa will be accepting holiday wish lists and will be available to pose for free pictures with families. Visitors must provide their own camera or cell phone for their photo(s). Santa will be available during market hours with the exception of short breaks.
UTAH FOSTER CARE GIFT DRIVE:
Bring or BUY an item for the Utah Foster Care Gift Drive benefiting Utah foster families this holiday season. Many vendors will be offering discounts for items purchased for the toy drive!
ADMISSION TO THE MUSEUMS AT OGDEN STATION:
Your ticket to the Holiday Market includes complimentary admission to several of the incredible museums and galleries housed within Ogden Union Station, including the Browning Firearms Museum, Kimball Car Museum, Utah State Railroad Museums, and the Eccles Rail Center with its display of two of the largest locomotives ever manufactured anywhere! (Valued at $7)
The Holiday Market performer lineup will feature three musical acts with something for everyone, from spoons player Carly Kerby and her accompanying husband Buck to violinist Emma Lamb to Ogden-based musician Zaza Historia VanDyke, who will be who will be familiar to those who have attended the DIY Festival in recent years. Unlike DIY Fest, which solely features original pieces from Utah performers, Holiday Market performers will bring their musical takes on holiday classics and coined originals about the season.
Food & Beverage
We have a number of food options at the Fifth Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market Presented By Google Fiber. All of our vendors are Utah-based businesses, but together they serve up food that takes inspiration from around the globe. From empanadas to burgers and Mediterranean salads, there are fun options for any appetite so come hungry! Our food court is outside directly in front of the venue. No admission fee is required to access the food truck area.
In addition to our commercial food vendors, you’ll find a variety of Craft Foodies throughout the Market. These vendors are serving up one-of-a-kind, limited batches of handmade food products, including pastries, honey, candies, sauces, jams and more! Perfect for stocking stuffers, office gifts or as a treat to yourself.
The Holiday Market will feature a variety of local beer & spirits that may be enjoyed throughout the venue. We’re excited to announce that New World Distillery, based in Eden, UT, will be back this year crafting artisan cocktails. Ogden Beer Company will also be on-site providing a selection from their locally brewed lagers and IPAs.
Of course, there are also plenty of non-alcoholic options from local vendors including fresh juices and coffee.
Pro tip: Bring your water bottle and refill it at our free water bottle stations throughout the venue!
