Steven has been working as a chainmail artist since 2005. He loves the complexity that chainmail offers in its designs. Chainmail started as an early form of armor and has evolved into many intricate weaves and patterns. My goal is to bring the beauty of this ancient art back into our lives today. I am fascinated with the history and study of this art. I like to use weaves, such as the four in one, used centuries ago as well as create new designs. All of my artwork is handmade with quality metals and attention to detail. I coil and cut a lot of my metal by hand. My hope is that my artwork will inspire you to look into the history and celebrate its beauty.
