Craft Lake City DIY Festival To Feature Booth Designs By Salt Flat Studios

Salt Lake City, Aug. 8  For the first time this year, the Craft Lake City DIY Festival will feature artisan booths designed by Salt Flat Studios, a Utah-based company that specializes in developing and building brand identities. The DIY Festival is being held at the Gallivan Center on Friday, Aug. 12, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 13, from noon to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 14, from noon to 7 p.m.

As part of the DIY Festival application process, Salt Flat Studios selected two artisans to receive design scholarships:

  • Montée
  • sBayco.

Salt Flat Studios worked closely with these artisans to come up with booth display concepts and design, and the results will be revealed at the festival.

“We are so inspired by these artisans and their dedication to their respective crafts,” says Devin Harris, Founder and Executive Creative Director at Salt Flat Studios. “Salt Flat Studios is thrilled to be able to help sBayco. and Montée put their best foot forward at this year’s DIY Festival.”

Craft Lake City’s DIY Festival is in its eighth year. This year, the festival will feature more than 250 local artisans, craft foodies, DIY engineers and performers, with an expected 40,000 attendees. Tickets can be purchased at 24tix.com. The festival is FREE for kids 12 and under.
