Monday, November 11, Salt Lake City – Craft Lake City is pleased to announce a new STEM programming partnership with Google Fiber. Starting in November 2019, Craft Lake City will be working with Google Fiber to offer Family STEM nights at four local Title 1 elementary schools for the students and their families.
Each event will include 7-10 exhibitors offering demonstrations, interactive activities, virtual reality and other opportunities to meet local scientists and engineers. These events invite students to engage in interesting and creative ways with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. In addition to the exhibits and activities, snacks will be available for students and their parents to enjoy.

Craft Lake City and Google Fiber Family STEM nights will be happening at the following dates and locations. Anyone parent or guardian with a child enrolled in the corresponding school is welcome to attend with their family.
Thursday, November 14th 5:30p.m.-7:30p.m. at Washington Elementary
Friday, November 15th 5:30p.m.-7:30p.m. at Riley Elementary
Tuesday, November 19th 5:30p.m.-7:30p.m. at Sunset View Elementary
Thursday, January 23rd 5:30p.m.-7:30p.m. at Newman Elementary
STEM programming is an important component of Craft Lake City’s mission to promote, educate and inspire local artisans while elevating the Utah arts community through science, technology and art.
