Harmons Is Proud to Be Your Local Neighborhood Grocer
At Harmons, being local isn’t just something we say, it’s who we are.
We started in West Valley in 1932. Today, our shelves are filled with more than 3,000 local products. Supporting Utah makers, growers, and communities has always been at the heart of what we do!
That’s why we’re proud to once again sponsor Craft Lake City. It’s a celebration of creativity, community, and the joy of shopping small and local.
Why Local Matters
Every time you choose a Utah-grown peach, a wedge of local cheese, or a loaf of Harmons bread, you’re doing more than filling your cart. You’re supporting a neighbor, a small business, and someone’s dream.
We work directly with farmers, food makers, and artisans from across Utah. Their fresh, seasonal ingredients show up in our stores and in many of the items we make fresh in our kitchen and bakery.
One of our proudest programs is local produce. Each summer, you’ll find in-season picks like corn, peaches, vine-ripe tomatoes, and more—all grown right here in Utah!
Local produce doesn’t just taste great. It helps reduce travel time, cuts down on waste, and supports farming close to home. You can find many local fruits and veggies in our stores all year long.
Here are seasonal recipes from our dietitians to help you celebrate the season:
