Craft Lake City is pleased to announce that, due to popular demand, the application deadline for the fall class of their Youth Entrepreneur Program Powered By VentureLab has been extended by one week.
Applicants now have until Wednesday, September 24 to apply at craftlakecity.com/youth-program/.
Expanding to Ogden for the first time, this free after school program provides arts and entrepreneurship education to young creatives ages 12-18 through mentorship, hands-on workshops at the Weber County Main Library and engaging real-world experiences.
The program culminates with participants showcasing their businesses at Kid Row, Craft Lake City’s beloved youth pop-up market, as part of the Seventh Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market on Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ogden’s Historic Union Station.
Program highlights include:
- Five hands-on craft & entrepreneurship workshops
- Mentorship from local creative business owners
- Practice market to build confidence and experience
- $250 materials stipend for completing the program
- Waived Kid Row application & exhibitor fees
- Networking opportunities with Utah’s creative community
The program is designed to empower young creatives to turn their passions into thriving businesses while fostering creativity, confidence and community.
