Craft Lake City is excited to introduce the mentor and four scholarship recipients of its Scholarship & Mentor Program at their Seventh Annual Holiday Market, happening Friday, Dec. 5, 5–9 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m.–2p.m. at the Ogden Union Station.
Part of Craft Lake City’s Unity Initiative since 2017, the program aims to build a creative community that is accessible to and representative of all Utahns. It supports Utah-based makers, with an emphasis on those from underrepresented and/or socially or economically excluded communities, by helping them creatively and economically thrive. Participants receive one-on-one mentorship from seasoned makers, waived exhibitor fees, business training and networking opportunities around Craft Lake City’s major events.
Market attendees can meet these talented makers and enjoy the work from over 180 Utah-based artisans, vintage vendors, craft foodies, food trucks, indie game developers, performers and youth entrepreneurs. Tickets and details are available at: craftlakecity.com/holiday-market/
