Along with an array of handcrafted goods, engineering technology and artisan foods, Craft Lake City’s DIY Festival also plays host to several local musicians and dance performers from all across Utah. Over 50 musicians, bands, performers, dancers, singer/songwriters and more will take part in this year’s festival, showcasing their talents across two stages (sponsored by 90.9RM KRCL and 90.1 FM KUER). The festival will also include the SLUG Mag Busking Lounge Presented by Yelp, a busking area traditionally made up of street performers, featuring smaller and acoustic acts which will be located on the north end of the plaza near the food trucks. The music for this year’s festival kicks off as the festival opens on Friday, August 9 at 5 p.m. with The Weekenders performing on the 90.9 KRCL Stage, and Golden Sun closing the day out at 9:30 p.m. on the 90.1 KUER Stage.
