Applications for the 18th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons are OPEN!

Craft Lake City is thrilled to announce that applications for the 18th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons are now live! As Utah’s largest celebration of DIY culture, the DIY Fest highlights the state’s rich creative community and showcases the incredible talent of local makers. 

Utah-based artisans, craft foodies, food trucks, STEM innovators, indie game developers, vintage curators, performers and youth entrepreneurs are all invited to apply now at: craftlakecity.com/diy-festival

As the state’s largest local-centric art, music, science and technology festival, the DIY Fest offers local creatives the opportunity to sell their handmade work, build a network of like-minded individuals, grow their businesses and connect with thousands of dedicated patrons. 

The 18th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons will take place on Friday, Aug. 7, Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9, at the Utah State Fairpark in 2026. General Applications and scholarship applications are open to Utah residents through March 26, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Now Accepting Applications For These Exhibitor Categories:

  • Artisans: Makers offering handcrafted wares like ceramics, embroidery & fiber arts, artwork, jewelry, apparel, stationery, bath/body/apothecary items and more
  • Vintage Vendors: Curators of vintage clothing and/or housewares that predate 2000
  • Craft Foodies: Makers offering handmade pre-packaged baked goods, treats, sauces, candies and bottled handcrafted drinks. 
  • Performers: Bands, solo artists, dance companies, performance art groups, multicultural groups, buskers and street performers. 
  • STEM Exhibitors: DIY engineers, indie game developers, STEM clubs, tinkerers, Utah-Based STEM businesses, university groups, non-profit organizations & government agencies.
  • Commercial Food Vendors: Food trucks & booths offering made-to-order meals or craft beverages in a high volume. 
  • Youth Entrepreneurs: Makers ages 18 and under who would like to sell their handmade goods in a real-world festival environment.

Craft Lake City’s Unity Initiative at the DIY Festival

Craft Lake City’s Unity Initiative provides resources and opportunities for emerging artisans, and works to create an equitable and accessible creative environment representative of all Utahns. Through their Scholarship and Mentor Program, Application Support and additional resources, their Unity Initiative at the DIY Festival helps ensure that artisans and makers from all backgrounds have the opportunity to creatively and economically succeed. 

Scholarship & Mentor Program applications are open now to first-time exhibitors in the artisan, vintage or craft food categories.
