Best Friends Save Them All Dog Park at the 13th Annual DIY Festival

Craft Lake City is pleased to announce its new partnership with Best Friends in Utah in hosting the first-ever dog park at the 13th Annual Craft Lake City® DIY Festival® Presented By Harmons. This year, festival attendees are invited to bring their well-behaved dogs to join in for the fun by purchasing a Dog Ticket (accredited service dogs receive free admission to the Festival). Canine visitors will have access to the Best Friends Save Them All Dog Park, where they can hydrate, enjoy some downtime cooling off in the shade and relieve themselves. Staying true to the Craft Lake City style, the Best Friends Save Them All Dog Park will also feature a special take-and-make station for dog owners to participate in. This gives attendees the chance to indulge in a hands-on DIY activity and take home a custom dog toy inspired by Best Friends. Craft Lake City is proud to be partnering with Best Friends in their mission to champion compassion for animals in shelters and help make Utah a no-kill state.

Every day, more than 950 dogs and cats are killed in animal shelters across the country, simply because they don’t have a safe place to call home. Working together with shelters, rescue groups and passionate people like you, Best Friends works to greatly reduce the number of animals killed in shelters to bring this country to no-kill by 2025. Best Friends believes in taking action on a local level in the form of grassroots activism. Best Friends is leading the no-kill movement by running lifesaving community programs for dogs and cats, providing support and training for animal shelters and rescue groups, and mobilizing community members on behalf of pets in need across the country.
