Craft Lake City Announces The May 2014 Craft Lake City Artist Workshop: Handcrafted Clay Wind Chimes with Jessica Thesing—SOLD OUT

SALT LAKE CITY, May 14, 2014 – Craft Lake City is excited to announce that the handmade wind chimes workshop with CLC Advisory Board Member Jessica Thesing has sold out. The workshop will take place May 17, 2014 at Ceramic Supply USA.

Jessica Thesing is the Small Business Manger for Economic Development for SLC Corp and an enthusiastic supporter of the local community. She teaches occasional ceramics classes in her spare time.

Workshop participants will make one set of wind chimes by rolling out clay slabs and forming each chime—using a shape cutter or by hand. Students will get to choose a color for their chimes to be glazed, then they will be fired and ready for pick up at a later date. All materials will be provided. The workshop will take place May 17, 2014 from 10 a.m. to noon at Ceramic Supply USA—located at 152 W. 1700 S.

Summer is right around the corner, and so are those breezy warm nights. Participants will be able to take their creations home, adding that perfect element to their porch for those long summer nights.
