Salt Lake City, Aug. 4 – Animal Jam returns as a sponsor of the 8th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival, helping to bridge the gap between kids and science education. Created locally in Salt Lake City, Animal Jam is the largest social network for kids in the world with a focus on the life sciences.
Taking their animal-centric experience from online to offline for this year’s event, Animal Jam will host live animal encounters on Friday, Aug. 12, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. in the Google Fiber STEM Building. Bring the kids to meet real animals, make a stop-motion video, and meet the creators of Animal Jam.
The DIY Festival features over 250 artisans, craft foodies and DIY engineers, as well as two stages with live music and dance by local performers. Tickets can be purchased at 24tix.com. The festival is FREE for kids 12 and under.
