Craft Lake City Announces the April 2013 Installment of the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series Presented by Cricut: Handmade Water Bottle Totes by Trisha McBride on April 1, 2013.
SALT LAKE CITY – Craft Lake City is excited to announce the April 2013 installment in the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series Presented by Cricut: Handmade Water Bottle Totes with Trisha McBride. The workshop will take place at Tissu Fine Fabrics on 345 Pierpont Ave. McBride will be teaching participants how to make their very own tote to carry around their favorite water bottle or to-go mug. Workshop participants will also learn how to use the Cricut machine to print out an iron-on they can add to their tote.
The workshop will take place on Monday, April 1 at Tissu Fine Fabrics on 345 W. Pierpont Ave. McBride is a multi-talented craft maven, designing jewelry and clothing, as well as being a staple in Salt Lake’s bellydance scene and the cover model of the Craft Lake City-themed August 2012 issue of SLUG Magazine. Craft Lake City has created the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series in an effort to not only support the handmade, DIY community, but also educate and encourage others to get involved. Now happening every month at different locations, participants are taught a simple craft by Alum Artists of the Craft Lake City festival.
