SALT LAKE CITY – Craft Lake City is delighted to announce the fourth installment in the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series: Screen Printing: “Getting Down and Dirty with the Basics” with Copper Palate Press (copperpalatepress.com). A group of Copper Palate Press artists will teach workshop attendees the fundamentals of screen printing, step by step, guiding groups of participants as they burn a screen to create high-quality, one-color prints for posters.

The workshop will take place on Monday, May 21 at Copper Palate Press, a local full-service screen printing and design agency located at 160 E. 200 S. behind Fice and Este. This is a two-hour, all-ages event with a $5 materials fee and lasts for two hours.

Craft Lake City has created the Craft Lake Artist Workshop Series in an effort to not only support the handmade, DIY community, but also educate and encourage others to get involved. Happening every other month at different locations, participants are taught a simple craft by Alum Artists of the Craft Lake City festival.
