2013 marks the fifth year of the Craft Lake City Festival, and a new two-day format. The festival will run from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.

“We have been looking forward to taking CLC into a multi-day festival, and feel 2013 was the year to make this leap,” says Angela Brown, SLUG Magazine Editor and Craft Lake City Director. “This two-day format will allow both vendors and attendees alike more time to take in the Craft Lake City experience.”

Craft Lake City is an outdoor arts festival that will showcase over 200 artists, craft foodies, DIY Engineers, and creatives of all types, specializing in DIY goods. Affordably priced items like silk-screened posters, reconstructed clothing, knitted items and jewelry will be available, along with 3D printers, interactive robots, children’s activities and more. Entertainment will be provided throughout the day and will include craft and engineering demonstrations, street performers, dancers and musical acts.
