Entertainment at Craft Lake City’s Holiday Market

Craft Lake City is bringing festive tunes to the Seventh Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market at Ogden Union Station, Friday, Dec. 5, 5–9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Patrons can enjoy live music and captivating performances while sipping on craft drinks, taking pictures with Santa and exploring over 180 local artisans, vintage vendors, craft and commercial foodies, STEM exhibitors and youth makers.

The Holiday Market features nine incredible Utah-based musicians and performance groups, offering everything from classical tunes and pop-infused pieces to rock, bluegrass and hypnotic dance performances guaranteed to fill the venue with holiday spirit.

Meet the Holiday Market Performers

Friday, Dec. 5 Performances

Chamber Orchestra Ogden 
(6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.)

Professional, accessible, affordable, enjoyable is Chamber Orchestra Ogden’s motto. As a semi-professional orchestra, they dedicate themselves to providing state-of-the-art performances to the Northern Utah community.

Wasatch Valley Drifters
(7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)

Wasatch Valley Drifters is an immensely talented bluegrass sextet that is all about blending and evolving their music. Their sound is both lively and comforting, creating the perfect atmosphere for some Holiday shopping.  

Fleet Cooperative
(8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)

Theatrical, captivating and moving, Fleet Cooperative is a performance group that believes in the idea of acceptance and allowing people to express their creativity. Their performances are rooted in the idea of uplifting others, challenging norms and leaving an impact.

Saturday, Dec. 6 Performances

Elephant Rock Strings
(11:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.)

A musically gifted student orchestra group, Elephant Rock Strings‘ joyous sound is sure to bring cheer to everyone’s ear.

Onstage Ogden
(12:00 p.m.- 12:30 p.m.)

A staple of the performing arts community in Ogden, Onstage Ogden is a non-profit that brings together various musicians around the world to share their love of music with the amazing Ogden community.

Crista Shoemake (Busker)
(12:30 p.m.- 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m.- 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

A talented violinist and musical tour-de-force, Crista Shoemake has done it all. From performing with celebrities like Josh Groban to arranging unforgettable pieces. Her blend of classically infused pop and emotive performance are a marvel. 

The Utah Irish Dance Company
(1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.)

Patrons can admire the quick precision and hypnotizing footwork of The Utah Irish Dance Company. A professional group that displays expertise in both traditional and contemporary Irish dances.

Salduro
(2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.)

Salduro is a four-piece rock and roll band from Logan, Utah. Words cannot describe the creativity and expressiveness of their music. They bring an infectious energy that  breathes new life into everyone who gives them a listen.

The Snarlin’ Yarns
(3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Capturing a sound that is both familiar and completely their own, The Snarlin’ Yarns have made a name for themselves among the local music community. Their performance brings a rustic touch to these holiday shopping.
