The Natural History Museum of Utah and Craft Lake City Present: Felt Dinosaurs With Stacie Van Arsdale of Little Teeth Marks

THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM OF UTAH AND CRAFT LAKE CITY PRESENT: FELT DINOSAURS WITH STACIE VAN ARSDALE OF LITTLE TEETH MARKS

SALT LAKE CITY, October 24, 2014—The Natural History Museum of Utah and Craft Lake City are excited to announce the November 2014 DIY Workshop: Felt Dinosaurs with Stacie Van Arsdale. The workshop will be held on November 5, 2014 at The Natural History Museum of Utah from
 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Highlighting the Paleontology Collection at NHMU, Van Arsdale will be teaching workshop participants how to create a felted dinosaur that can be given as a gift or used as a holiday ornament. Van Arsdale has created an animal friendly “taxidermy” process she will share with workshop participants. Stacie Van Arsdale works with a variety of mediums including cardboard, wool, plastic toys, gouache and fabric. Her work is narrative based highlighting imaginary characters.

Workshop Attendance Policy: Participants are now required to arrive and check-in with the Craft Lake City Workshop Coordinator five minutes before the workshop begins or their spot will be given to a participant on the waitlist. If you wish to be added to the waitlist please arrive fifteen minutes before the workshop begins and check in with our Workshop Coordinator. You will be added to the waitlist to take the place of an absent participant’s spot. First come, first serve, waitlisters are not guaranteed admittance.
